Dejan Lazić’s fresh interpretations of the repertoire have established him as one of the most unique and unusual soloists of his generation. He regularly performs with world’s leading orchestras, including Boston and Chicago Symphony Orchestras, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, as well as the Australian, Basel, and Netherlands Chamber Orchestras, and has built close collaborations with conductors including Giovanni Antonini, Iván Fischer, Michael Francis, Andris Nelsons, Ivan Repušić, Thomas Søndergård, Robert Spano, John Storgårds, Krzysztof Urbański, and Jan Willem de Vriend.

In the 2024/25 season Dejan Lazić will debut with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra under Krzysztof Urbański and returns to Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, Netherlands Philharmonic, Pannon Philharmonic, Residentie Orkest Den Haag, RTV Slovenia and Stuttgarter Philharmoniker.

Dejan Lazić (born in Zagreb, 1977) is a Croatian pianist and composer, and a naturalised Austrian citizen. He has appeared with such orchestras as the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony, Bamberger Symphoniker, Swedish Radio, Danish National, Helsinki Philharmonic, Australian Chamber Orchestra and NHK Symphony Orchestra, working with such conductors as Iván Fischer, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Giovanni Antonini, Kirill Petrenko, Robert Spano and John Storgårds.
Lazić made his BBC Proms debut in summer 2011, performing two concerts; once with BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, to give the UK premiere of his own arrangement of the Brahms Violin Concerto for piano and orchestra and again to perform Liszt with Budapest Festival Orchestra and Iván Fischer.
