In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing AMKC Gobi, we have Manoj. Born on August 9, 2002, in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, Manoj currently resides in the same city. His father, Senthil Kumar, has passed away, and his mother, Mahalakshmi, runs a tailoring shop. Manoj has an elder sister named Preethi. Manoj started playing kabaddi at the age of 12, inspired by everyone in his village who played the sport. He specializes as a Right Raider, with his best skill being his jumping ability. He receives coaching from Elango at the CSC Club in Tirupur, where he also practices. His favorite kabaddi player is Chandran Ranjith, whom he admires for his perfection in all skills. Manoj represented his state in the Junior State tournament in Mayaladudurai in 2021. Besides kabaddi, he enjoys playing cricket. He is currently pursuing a College Graduation degree and is in the second year of his BA in English. The India men's national kabaddi team represents India in international men's kabaddi competitions. The team is by far the most successful national kabaddi side of any country, winning gold medals at the Asian Games in 1990 (the first year the sport was contested), 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022, as well as winning all four Kabaddi World Cup events to date. Pawan Sehrawat is the current captain of the team since 2022.[1]
