Balochistani was born in 1891 in Kalat district in Balochistan, British India(Currently in Pakistan). Pillamal was his father and Tulsa Bai his mother. It was a Kshatriya family. He was named Khemamal. Later Baba Sawan Singh honoured him with the name of Shah 'Mastana Balochistani' Ji. Baba Sawan Singh further declared him "Mastanon ka Mastana, Shahon Ka Shah ". At the age of 14 years, Balochistani left home in search of a perfect spiritual Guru (teacher). At last, after searching for nine years, he reached Beas in the state of Punjab in India, where he met Baba Sawan Singh where he attended his Satsang (spiritual congregation) and learned the method of meditation from him. Baba Sawan Singh entrusted Balochistani with the task of conducting spiritual discourses and teaching meditation to the people in the provinces of Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab.

Later Baba Sawan Singh assigned Balochistani duty in the vicinity of Bagarh a (region of northern Rajasthan and western Haryana). He made him his spiritual successor and sent him to Sirsa in Haryana. Balochistani, on the orders of Baba

His Holiness Shehanshah Mastana Ji Maharaj carried out the awareness of the true name
with full force for the period of twelve years. In this golden period he distributed, in abundance,
gold, silver, rupees, clothes, quilts, etc. openly among the public. He showed strange and awe-
striking spiritual miracles that attracted people from far away in India and the world to Dera
Sacha Sauda.

Shehanshah Mastana Ji was born on KARTIK POORNIMA in the year 1891 in the Village
Kotra, Town Gandheya, Sub District Kullait, Balochistan, Pakistan. His Father’s name was Shri
Pillamal Ji and Mother’s name was Mata Tulsa Bai Ji. He belonged to an akshatriya family. His
Parents initially named him as Shri Khemamal Ji. Later on His Holiness Huzoor Baba Sawan
Singh Ji Maharaj honourably named him as ‘Shah Mastana Ji’. This pure name was given by
Huzoor Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj keeping in view his true devotion, love and dedication
towards the Satguru that is "The God

His Holiness Shehanshah Mastana Ji Maharaj taught the method of meditation (the holy Naam Shabd) to thousands of people over a period of twelve years (1948-1960). During this period, His Holiness distributed gold, silver, currency notes, clothes, etc. to people, motivating them to meditate on God’s Words. His Holiness did all this without accepting even a single penny from anyone. People from various parts of the country started coming to Dera Sacha Sauda and became its followers.

Shehanshah Mastana Ji incarnated on Kartik Poornima in 1891 in village Kotra, tehsil Gandhey, district Kalat (Balochistan). Sh. Pillamal Ji was his respected father and Smt. Tulsa Bai Ji the respected mother. His Holiness belonged to a Kshatriya family. The respected parents named him Shri Khemamal Ji.
