David Oman is a Senior Advisor to the Iowa Conservative Energy Forum, which he helped organize in 2019 and ’20. An Iowa native, David served in the Governor’s Office for ten years – Chief of Staff for the late Governor Robert Ray and first Chief of Staff for former Governor Terry Branstad. He is the only Iowan to have served as Chief of Staff for two Governors.
Upon leaving state government, David was an executive in the cable television industry, working in Des Moinesfor Heritage Communications and Denver, COas director of state government affairs for Tele-Communications, Inc., the largest U.S. cable operator at the time. During that stint, David served on boards of the C-SPAN network and cable interconnects in Philadelphia and San Francisco. Concurrently, he was co-owner of Iowa’s first all-news radio station, in Des Moines.

David Oman (Poltergeist Agent/Producer/Creator/Co-Writer/) has been intrigued by the paranormal and has been curious about the Spirit World.
Oman bought a lot and started with his father to build ‘the house’, just down the drive from the infamous Sharon Tate Murders aka the Manson Murders – after a few years of living in the house and dealing with the Ghosts he was inspired to write a story based upon his experiences there, titled, “House at the End of the Drive”
The movie shot it on location at his home and brought his story to life, he moved into the house the activity has been quite apparent so much so that the Oman house has been on seven paranormal reality shows, Ghost Hunters, Dead Famous Live, Searching for Satan, My Ghost Story, Haunted History, Paranormal Witness, the season 9 premiere episode of Ghost Adventures and Ghost Adventures After Shocks.

Australian politician
David Swan Oman (9 November 1866 – 10 April 1930) was an Australian politician.
He was born in Lismore, Victoria, to farmer William Oman and Jane Swan. He was educated locally and worked on his father's properties before acquiring property of his own at Highton in partnership with his brother. On 14 August 1895 he married Mary Seymour, with whom he had four children. He served on Hampden Shire Council from 1890 to 1930, with six separate terms as council president. In 1900 he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as the member for Ripon and Hampden, transferring to Hampden in 1904. Eventually a Nationalist, he was Minister of Agriculture from 1917 to 1920, Minister of Lands from 1920 to 1923 and from March to July 1924, Minister of Immigration from May to September 1923 and March to July 1924, and Minister in charge of the Wheat Scheme from March to July 1924. Although involved with the Victorian Farmers' Union, he never joined the Country Party. Oman was defeated in 1927 and died in Lismore in 1930.[1]
