Gabby Logan's Biography
Gabby Logan is one of the UK’s most prominent and best-loved sports presenters. She hosts the BBC’s flagship sport programme Inside Sport on BBC One, in which she interviews many of the world’s leading sports stars. She also hosts a weekday news programme on BBC Radio 5 Live from noon to 2.00pm.
A former international gymnast, Gabby began her broadcasting career in 1992 in radio and joined Sky Sports as a TV presenter in 1996. She quickly established herself as a football presenter, joining ITV in 1998 to front On The Ball.
During her nine years at ITV, Gabby’s presenting credits included the World Cup, Champions League and the Premier League. She joined the BBC in January 2007 and since then her her repertoire has covered the 2010 World Cup, the Six Nations Rugby tournaments and the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Gabrielle Nicole LoganMBE (néeYorath; born 24 April 1973) is a Welsh[1][2] television and radio presenter, and a former rhythmic gymnast who represented Wales and Great Britain.[3] She hosted Final Score for BBC Sport from 2009 until 2013. She has also presented live sports events for the BBC, including a revived episode of Superstars in December 2012 and the London Marathon since 2015.[4] Since 2013, she has co-hosted Sports Personality of the Year for the BBC and she presented the second series of The Edge in 2015.
In August 2025, Logan will become one of three presenters of Match of the Day, alongside Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates.
