Biography

Lisa Wagner is a multi-disciplinary intuitive artist who works primarily in watercolor & acrylic. She lives and works on Wellesley Island, NY and, during the winter months, out of their fifth wheel RV while travelling the US with her husband.

Wagner began her art career in 1995. Wagner mainly works in watercolor. She teaches multiple art classes in her studio, online and in local galleries. She has been included in various exhibitions, including the several acceptances in the ANEAW (Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors), at View Art Center in Old Forge, NY, and the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society’s International Exhibition. She most recently exhibited at the “Along the River’s Edge” exhibition held at the Thousand Islands Arts Center in Clayton NY. Wagner is a regular contributor for the Rochester Woman Online Magazine writing about creativity’s ability to heal ourselves mentally and was one of their wellness expert panelists for their “Mind, Body & Spirit Expo.”

    American bowler (born 1961)

    Lisa Wagner (born May 19, 1961)[1] is a retired professional ten-pin bowler who competed on the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour from 1980 through 2001. She is the all-time leader in officially recognized PWBA titles with 32. Among these titles are major championships at the 1988 U.S. Women's Open and 1996 WIBC Queens. Wagner is a member of the PWBA Hall of Fame (inducted in 1996) and the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Hall of Fame (inducted in 2000).[2]

    Professional career

    Wagner, a right-handed bowler, began her professional career as an 18-year old in 1980. While she didn't win any tournaments that season, she finished runner-up three times and was honored with the 1980 Rookie of the Year award.[3] After two more second-place finishes in 1981 and 1982, Wagner's first title came on her 22nd birthday (May 19, 1983) at the Robby's Midwest Classic in Rockford, Illinois.
